"Jose has been one of the most important members of our team over the past three years," said head football coach Mike Aldrich. "As our punter and kicker, he has been able to change field position, score points, and make critical tackles when needed. He has been dedicated to his craft and improved each season, and although I know how good he is, it's great to see him being recognized as an All-American." Moreno finished second in the nation in punting yards (3,118) and sixth in the country in punting average (42.70). He made 12-15 on his field-goal attempts with a long of 46. Of his 49 kickoffs, 25 of them went for touchbacks.
